Nowadays, stretch film has been widely used in both industry and life. Many packaging products that stretch film is often used in our life are finished by it. Stretch film is not only cheap, but also convenient to use, which can improve our work efficiency. With the increasing variety of products on the market, how to choose products with good quality has become a special consideration. Generally speaking, we should follow the following three main points in the selection of stretch film:

1、 Select high quality raw materials

With the increase of the number of comonomer atoms, the increase of branch chain, the decrease of crystallinity, the increase of “twining or kinking” effect, the increase of elongation, the increase of puncture strength and tear strength, etc. Blow molded PE stretch film is made of blow molded PE particles blown by blow molding machine with low cost, so it is widely used.

2、 Select advanced production equipment

The production of stretch film equipment is mainly divided into manual stretch film equipment and mechanical stretch film equipment. The stretch film equipment adopts advanced equipment and three-layer coextrusion technology. The equipment has intelligent control system, concealed automatic knife cutting, automatic cutting, automatic roll changing and other functions, so as to realize full automatic operation. Ensure that the winding is more solid and flat.

3、 Select advanced production technology

The stretch film is generally made by blowing and casting.

  1. Blow molding method: through direct contact cooling between water and film surface, it can be rapidly cooled and stretched in a spherical way. Its flatness is slightly inferior to that of tape casting method, but its transparency is better than that of tape casting method. At the same time, the spherical stretching has certain influence on the stretching ductility.
  2. Casting method: due to the long and narrow flow channel and fast flow speed, the temperature range of melt is generally controlled at 250 ℃ ~ 280 ℃, the temperature of casting cooling roller is controlled at 20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃, and the winding tension is generally low within 10kg, so as to facilitate the removal of viscosity agent and reduce the internal stress of finished film.
