  1. Low density polyethylene
    Its density is about 0.92g/cm3. The low-density polyethylene film has good transparency and heat-sealability, and can be waterproof and moisture-proof; it has low tensile strength, large tensile elongation, and is easy to wrinkle. For films below 0.03 mm, the tension control should be small and the tension everywhere It must be constant, especially deformed when heated, which makes it difficult to register. Therefore, when drying, the film surface temperature should not be too high (within 55 degrees). According to the different film-forming processes, it can be divided into blown film (IPE), salivation film (CPE), low-foam film and so on. The tensile strength and opening of IPE film are better than CPE film. It is printed on the front side and can be used for food bags and clothing bags. The thickness of CPE film is uniform, and the surface gloss, transparency and heat sealability are better than that of PE. It can be printed on both sides. But the production cost is high. The CPE film is mainly used as the inner layer of the composite bag and the packaging of cosmetics, pickles and pastries; the low-foam film has good decoration, thick texture and is not easy to stretch and deform. It is printed on the front side and used for New Year pictures, trademarks and hand bags.
  2. Medium density polyethylene
    Its density is about 0.93 ~ 0.94g/cm3 and its performance is between high density and low density polyethylene.
  3. High density polyethylene
    The density is 0.94-0.965g/cm3. The heat resistance and mechanical strength of the high-density polyethylene film are better than those of the low-density polyethylene film, and the tensile elongation is small. The film thickness is generally above 0.03 mm, but the transparency is poor. Adopt front printing, mainly used as vest bag, garbage bag and inner lining bag.
  4. Cross-linked polyethylene
    Because it has higher heat resistance, tensile strength, heat shrinkage and barrier properties than other polyethylene products, its use is further expanding, and it was mostly used as a heat shrinkable packaging film。
    Generally speaking, as the density increases, the mechanical properties and barrier properties will increase accordingly, and the heat resistance is also good. Polyethylenes of the same density have different properties due to the different film-forming processes. This is because the salivation method can cool rapidly, the crystallinity is low, the transparency is high, and the turbidity is small, but the molecular arrangement is more irregular, so the barrier property is small, that is, the transmittance is large, the elongation is low, and the tear resistance Poor cracking.
